I’ve been taking these pills for about a week. I’ve noticed that I have more energy in the evening, and I’m able to get up earlier in the morning w/o any grogginess. I feel like I’m getting everything I need each day and that makes me feel good.

Help for People Facing Diabetes

I recently attended a lecture about managing diabetes. I was appalled when it was presented that at some point, everyone who is diabetic will have to go on insulin. I had already purchased this book and started reading it prior to the meeting. As I have a family history of diabetes and my Mom died due to the complications of it, I am determined to do my utmost to NOT have this disease. This book is very clear and easy to follow. Everything in it is DOABLE for anyone who is serious about his/her health. I have been following the recommendations in this book for a month now and have lost 20 pounds and feel SO much more energetic! I recommend this book highly to anyone facing this disease themselves or with a family member!

Product actually works!

I just had my semi-annual checkup with my doctor yesterday. For 35 yrs., doctors have told me that I was a borderline type 2 diabetic. My last blood surgar level was 152.

For the last 2 and a half months, I have been taking this product each morning. Yesterday my blood sugar level was 102.

Wonderful!

The very berry granola gourmet bars are my favorite flavor. They taste wonderful, and are easy on your stomache even when you’re ravenous. =P

They are a great snack to keep at work. They also keep well over time, so you don’t have to eat an entire package in a couple of days. =)

A Diabetic Must Have

I love this Medport organizer. I’ve had other organizers in the past, but they don’t compare to this one. Its small enough, but yet it can hold everything you need. It has two sides, one side keeps your insulin cool and the other side holds all of your syringes, soft touch pricks, alcohol pads, and it also has a place for your glucose meter. Its wonderful when traveling. It’s discreet looking. It looks like a smaller version of a lap-top cover. No one would ever guess you had medical supplies in it. This is a must have for diabetics.

Perhaps the best available, but …

The idea is to hold all the necessary insulin supplies, including the meter and test strips. Gel packs from the 0 F freezer are put into a pouch next to the insulin. I don’t know why the insulin doesn’t freeze, but it doesn’t. It seems to be the best product of its type available, but nonetheless it could be a lot better. The organizer uses clear “sticky” plastic for several of the pouches, and they are difficult to use, resisting putting things in and taking them out. Mesh would be much better. The pouches are really too small for standard 1 cc syringes; they can be used, but only with difficulty. The insulin side of the case is difficult to zip when the gel packs are in place. It’s the right idea, but needs redesign. There are no instructions as to what is supposed to go where, but that can be figured out.
